Mullinax Concrete Service Co. has been setting the standard for quality and service in the concrete construction community since Jack Mullinax started the company in 1952.  Times have changed considerably since then and we have grown and diversified to meet those changes.

We have fifteen radio equipped, mixer trucks to enable us to accommodate your needs whether you need 1 load or 20 loads.  We use an Alkon computerized batching system so you can be certain that your first yard of concrete is consistent with your last yard.  We can adjust your mix to accommodate cold weather and hot weather limitations.  Mullinax utilizes a number of additives for cold weather pouring such as hot water and a non-chloride accelerator.  We also offer Type III cement during the winter months.  All of these additives will help your concrete hydrate more quickly to speed curing time.  We use a chiller during the summer months.  This unit actually cools the water going into the truck to help prevent your concrete from setting too quickly.

If your site is a considerable distance from our plant or you know your pour will take a great deal of time we can add delvo to retard the activation of the cement resulting in more time for you to work the concrete before it begins to set.  We can also accommodate your special design mixes.  All of our basic mixes can be altered to meet the specifications of your job.

We produce a wide variety of gravel and we carry river rock and masonry sand as well.  Delivery is available for all our gravel products.
